Select your preferred button or number that can be used in game to activate a macro, I personally use the 1 button so I can put the macro on the skill bar and not have to mess with my keybinds. But if you have a certain button you like, go ahead and use that as long as you are comfortable with it.

So now we have a macro slot selected, let us make the macro first. Choose an empty slot and go to Assign Macro > Create New Macro, This will open up a new box.

If you already have a macro there that's fine, just make a new one, doesn't matter what it is named although you might want to name it something you will recognize if you use multiple macros like I do. Then make sure Auto Loot is ON.

If you're milling type in the following in accordance to the pigment you're looking for:

Alabaster Pigment
/cast Milling
/use Bloodthistle
/use Peacebloom
/use Silverleaf
/use Earthroot
/use Mageroyal

Dusky Pigment
/cast Milling
/use Briarthorn
/use Swiftthistle
/use Bruiseweed
/use Stranglekelp

Golden Pigment
/cast Milling
/use Wild Steelbloom
/use Grave Moss
/use Kingsblood
/use Liferoot

Emerald Pigment
/cast Milling
/use Fadeleaf
/use Goldthorn
/use Khadgar's Whiskers
/use Wintersbite

Violet Pigment
/cast Milling
/use Firebloom
/use Purple Lotus
/use Arthas' Tears
/use Sungrass
/use Blindweed
/use Ghost Mushroom
/use Gromsblood

Silvery Pigment
/cast Milling
/use Golden Sansam
/use Dreamfoil
/use Mountain Silversage
/use Plaguebloom
/use Icecap

Nether Pigment
/cast Milling
/use Dreaming Glory
/use Felweed
/use Flame Cap
/use Mana Thistle
/use Netherbloom
/use Nightmare Vine
/use Ragveil
/use Terocone
/use Ancient Lichen

Azure Pigment
/cast Milling
/use Goldclover
/use Tiger Lily
/use Deadnettle
/use Adder's Tongue
/use Talandra's Rose
/use Peacebloom
/use Icethorn
/use Lichbloom

It's important that you will always have a stack of 5 of these herbs and if you have an uneven stack, just remove it from your bag. So just make sure you have stacks in multiples of 5, ie. 5,10,15,20 nothing like 11, or 14, or 19, to improve efficiency.

If you want to make a separate macro for each type of pigment that's fine, just switch them out when you want to mill those herbs. Again it is totally up to you.

This is pretty much it for the milling. After you are done milling then just make your ink or sell the pigment or whatever you want to do.

A good tip to keep in mind for Azure pigment is that Adder's Tongue, at least on my server goes for roughly 20-22g and sometimes less, and has a 50% chance to mill Icy Pigment, which turns into Snowfall Ink, which can be very profitable. So I try to buy as much Adder's Tongue as I can cheaply and mill that for cash.

Let us now move unto the enchanting or disenchanting macro section. There isn't much to this either. You just have to make a new WoW macro and type the following based on the most common item or items you use to disenchant with:

/cast disenchant
/use [item name]

You can also add multiple items to the macro too, just go to the next line and add like so:

/cast disenchant
/use [item name]
/use [item name]
/use [item name]
/use [item name]

The following macros are in effect since 2.0 patch just for knowledge purposes:

/castsequence [reset=N/target/combat/shift/alt/ctrl] , , …

Sequenced Casting

* A new command /castsequence reset=N/target/combat/shift/alt/ctrl spell1, spell2, spell3
* The reset line can specify a number of seconds after which a sequence resets, or if it should reset on target change or leaving combat.
* The sequence tracks the 'next' spell in the sequence until it resets, the next spell only advances on a successful cast.
* You can specify a conditional at the start of the command before the reset to filter whether the sequence is used (You cannot use per-spell conditionals)
* You can specify items as well as spells

Action Bars:
/changeactionbar
/swapactionbar

Attacking:
/startattack [unit]
/stopattack

Buffs/Auras:
/cancelaura

Macros:
/stopmacro [option]

OPTIONS

If multiple options are provided for an action, they must all be met before the action will happen. The options supported are as follows:
* target=unit - Run the command and perform tests on the specified unit (only applicable to spell casting or item use). You can specify 'none' as a target unit to act as if you have no target.
* help/harm - Choose depending on whether target is assistable or attackable
* combat - Choose depending on whether you're in combat or not
* stance or stance:# - Choose depending on your stance/shapeshift ("stance" alone matches any stance)
* stealth - Choose depending on whether you are stealthed
* mounted - Choose depending on whether you are mounted
* swimming - Choose depending on whether you are swimming
* flying - Choose depending on whether you are flying
* indoors - Choose depending on whether you are indoors
* outdoors - Choose depending on whether you are outdoors
* modifier or modifier:shift|ctrl|alt - Choose depending on any modifier keys you're holding at the time the macro runs
* equipped:|| - Choose if you have the specific item type equipped
* actionbar: - Choose if a specific actionbar is shown
* button:Z - Choose if the specified button is held down
* pet:| - Choose if your current active pet has the specified name or family (e.g. pet:bear/wolf)
* channeling or channeling:spell - Choose if you are channeling (possibly a specific spell)
* exists - Choose if the target exists
* dead - Choose if the target is dead

For stance and modifier you can list multiple matching values separated by the / character for the option to be true if ANY of them are true. For example modifier:shift/ctrl matches if shift or control is held down. Any option can be prefixed with 'no' to select if it does NOT match. For example [nocombat]

From the WoW Forums (original post by Ghostwalka of Argent Dawn)

/cast [target=mouseover] insertspellnamehere

The above Macro is incredibly, incredibly useful. It has single handedly removed much of my guilds problems with removing debuffs since the loss of Decursive.

You make this macro, and for the fight, bind it to 1 or 2 on your bar. Then, very simply, use your right hand to move your mouse pointer over the raid window where the person afflicted by whatever debuff you want to remove is... and use your left hand to click '1' or '2' to key the macro, and there you go, spell removed.

You can clear up an entire group VERY fast with this macro, especially if you use the Blizzard Default UI Group bars. Small enough you can just run down them spamming the removal spell every second on the groups you're assigned to.

Oh, another very big key: ASSIGN GROUPS TO SPECIFIC PEOPLE.

This will help to no end, and prevent multiple castings of curse going to the same people and others not getting the debuff off fast enough.

Various Macros include:(Note: These are individual macros, not lines of a single macro)

Priest:
/cast [target=mouseover] Dispel Magic
/cast [target=mouseover] Cure Disease
/cast [target=mouseover] Abolish Disease

Shaman:
/cast [target=mouseover] Cure Disease
/cast [target=mouseover] Cure Poison
/cast [target=mouseover] Purge (The last one is for use on the enemy. Very useful.)

Druid:
/cast [target=mouseover] Cure Poison
/cast [target=mouseover] Remove Curse
/cast [target=mouseover] Abolish Poison

Mage:
/cast [target=mouseover] Remove Lesser Curse

Paladin:
/cast [target=mouseover] Cleanse

Important note:
No you do not have to have the (Rank 2) next to the spell. If you just put in the correct spell name, it will automatically cast the highest rank spell of that name. I've tested this. The (Rank 2) additions are for downranking.

You can make more macros using the targer=mouseover command. Healing spells. Renew. Rejuv. For PvP, you can make it Hunter's Mark or Corruption or Siphon Life, or any other instant cast spell you want to rain over multiple people in the feild/cast on a specific moused over target. That Purge macro above for Shamans is awesome for PvP. Just move your mouse around and start purging an entire field of enemies.

All you need to do is hold your mouse pointer over the person OR their name in the raid window to get the Mouseover macro to work and heal them. Also, just so you all know. With the right setup and assigned groups, you can and will be able to remove debuffs FASTER then you did with Decursive. It really does. Especially as you can remove priority targets first with much more reliability. Its more work, sure, but its also more fun.

Give it a try. It may help your raids. Best of luck.
