Auchenai Crypts Chest Farm For Rogues

I found a new way to make some easy cash today and I want to share it with all of you. The scene takes place in Auchenai Crypts. In the second room, there usually is a chest which may be locked.

The best way to explain is via the screenshot below:



So, all you have to do then is to pull the priest near the chest. Then wait mobs to come near you. Finally, vanish and jump. You can unlock the chest! Here is a point form explanation:

1. Pull the Mob as shown on the picture and then jump backwards (out of sight), so that he can't cast and starts running to you!
2. Wait for the mobs to be near you and use evasion and cloak of shadows
3. In the moment the first mob hits you put on sprint and jump down!
4. While falling down just vanish and click on the chest

I hope it will be useful for all you rogues!

hiya. Just to elaborate on this (since i tried it yesterday after 3 tries)
a) U r suppose to sneak in and when u reach the 2nd room, climb to the 2nd level.
b) there will be some cracks in the floor. Position yourself there.
NOTE: ROgues with mining can sometimes mine the rich node here though i m not one so i m not sure if this works
c) wait for the pats (indicated in the picture) to be climbing up the stairs (shown in the picture)
d) shoot/throw at the nearest pat to the chest
e) wait for them to come running up the stairs twds u.
NOTE: If u r gungho enugh, u can attempt to distract/cripple the pat/pats nearest the chest to delay their time to return to the chest
f) sprint and drop off onto/towards the chest.
g) As you are dropping time it such that u vanish just before you hit
h) now quickly lockpick and loot the chest.
NOTE: THe pats will come running back down. However if u did it correctly, the pat nearest the chest will come back last AND you would have looted and stealthed already. Also sometimes there's ancient lichen next to the chest, please don't be greedy and herb it cos u won't have enough time.

I think cannot do this anymore. I tried yesterday and the chest is not there anymore! *sob*

you can still do this, but I have no idea why anyone would go so far for an exploit, the two mobs are easily soloable by a somewhat geared rogue.
