I've found these mobs in Northrend which are totally immune to all form of damage. You can level your weapon skills off of them and not get hurt at all. You also never have to switch mobs since they don't die. The location for these mobs are highlighted in the map below (kindly click map to enlarge) :

Wotlk Weapon Leveling

The mobs are just on the ledges right above the area. They are named Iceskin Sentry, they have a buff which "freezes" them in stone. Enjoy getting your free achievement and weapon skills! Happy Weapon Skill Leveling!

Weapon leveling is a daunting task especially for melee classes with the wide array of weapons available in the game. Hence the need to do so easily is preferred rather than heading back to low level areas and chasing after mobs after mobs. Here are 2 of my favorite locations in Outlands to do so.

Shadowmoon Valley
Approx. Cords: 70, 50

This is by far the best place for me and not only is it fast but safe as well. All you have to do is clear some of the warlocks surrounding Azaloth and just melee him while he is banished without agroing the remaining warlocks. Best position to do this is right behind him to avoid patrolling mobs. You would need a flying mount to get to this elevated location though.

Shadow Labyrinth Entrance at Auchindoun

As you enter Shadow Labyrinth or Slabs for short, you will notice mobs exiting from the portal and engaging battle with the npcs in the chamber. All you have to do is wait for them to be in combat and dps them to level your weapon skill. You would need a Shadow Labyrinth Key to enter though. This place is great do level up your weapon skill while waiting for your party to arrive for any of the Auchindoun instances.

Found an old guide pertaining to Hand of Ragnaros which I just wanted to add to my collection of guides and anyone who is still keen on this info:

Intro:
This mace is still one of the best two-handers in the game. There is a fragile limit to who should/can use it though, most would say this goes to a DPS warrior, although Paladins and even enhancement Shamans have been seen with it. While Thunderfury require you to farm BWL for elementium ore, everything you need for Sulfuras can be found in Molten Core or in the outside world.

How To:
To make Sulfuras, you'll first need to make a Sulfuron Hammer. A blacksmith with 300 in skill is needed for that and the plans for it are sold by Lokhtos Darkbargainer at the BRD tavern (the same guy you do turn ins to for increased Thorium Brotherhood rep after you reach honored). You need to give him a Sulfuron Ingot (dropped only by Golemagg in MC) to receive the plans, however there is no rep required.

Once you've got the plans it's time to start working on those materials for the hammer. You should already be way on your way as you've spent some time getting to Golemagg in MC.

What you need and where to find and how to make it:
1. 8x Sulfuron Ingots (From Golemagg, as mentioned. This is in addition to the one you used to buy the plans)
2. 20x Dark Iron bars (Which again means 160 dark iron ores. Dark iron is mined a few places in Burning Steppes and Searing Gorge, but are most easily found inside Blackrock Depths and Molten Core itself. To melt ores into bars you need to learn it from one of the dwarves from the Chamber of Seven, and melt it at the Black Forge, next to the MC portal in BRD).
3. 50 Arcanite Bars (Arcanite bars again. 1 arcane crystal and 1 thorium bar is required per Arcanite bar and it takes an alchemist 2 days to make one. Better get your guilds alchemists ready to contribute)
4. 25x Essence of Fire (these drops from fire elementals in Burning Stepps, Searing Gorge and the Blackrock instances. They can also be created by alchemists (275+ and a Philosopher's Stone) by transmuting air to fire, but the process has a 24h cooldown).
5. 10x Blood of the Mountain (This are rare drops from Thorium veins)
6. 10x Lava Core (Drops off of most mobs in MC)
7. 10x Fiery Core (Same as Lava Cores, drops from MC mobs)

The blacksmith should have all he needs to make Sulfuron Hammer. In itself it is an excellent DPS weapon (63 DPS), but the real value is it's ability to turn into Sulfuras, Hand of Ragnaros. For this you need ONE thing - the Eye of Sulfuras. Unfortunately it only drops from Ragnaros at about 2% drop rate, which means you could easily farm Raggy for a year before your guild gets it.

Note that the Sulfuron Hammer is BoE, so the one who makes it need not be the one chosen to receive Sulfuras. The Eye of Sulfuron however is BoP, so make sure the chosen one loots it. Sulfuras is BoP as well, no-one can loot the eye, make Sulfuras and give it away.

Once you got Sulfuron and the Eye, you are 45 seconds away from being the proud owner of this beauty.

Okay, so today I was questing around in Area 52, and I stumbled upon a quest where you're gonna kill a Goblin named Dr. Boom he has a high amount of HP, so all u have to do is to stand where i do on this pic.

LOW LEVEL:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LyHIEMCnWiw
This one is pretty simple, just go find that guy called Gamon and attack him with the desired weapon equipped

HIGH LEVEL:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sjHBlwftzHQ
This one is a little more complicated but still pretty simple, find Cenarion Emissary Blackhoof in Org, go to your reputation page (tab off of character page), and click Cenarion Circle, then click At War, and you can attack him to build up weapon skill, you might want to run because he is level 55 so he could kill some lower level characters, like he almost did to me.

As a Warrior I find myself using different types of weapons constantly, and grinding up the skill is very annoying. I thought I would share my personal favorite spot for grinding this. Behind Northshire is a cave riddled with 1 hit kills that respawn usually in under a minute sometimes in a matter of seconds. Makes leveling your weapon skill much faster and easier.

This is for weapon skill:
Say you are a lvl 60 and are a Warlock. You want to start using staves instead of daggers. You only have 1 skill in staves and want it to be higher and don't want to die to an equal or lower level. Go to a newbie starting zone, start a fight with one of the mobs. Only use your weapon you are trying to raise! No spells or abilities!!! Bam you will raise it up maybe 5-10 points a battle, and once it gets higher, go battle the second town mobs and so on until it is high enough for you.

This is for Defense:
Go to the starting newbie area. Run by and start a fight with all mobs you can and stand there and let them beat you down for easy defense leveling. Even easier if you bring along a healing buddy if you're slightly in the lower levels.

Talk about replacing T1 items with Green Items from quests and drops in Outlands... here is an example of quest reward from Zangarmarsh which just blows the Mage inside of me away:

Quest Name: Lines of Communication [Level 64]
Begins With: Puluu
Ends With: Puluu

Quest Objectives
Puluu at the Orebor Harborage wants you to kill 12 Marshfang Slicers.

Quest Description
One of the reasons Ikuti led us to Zangarmarsh was to help open the lines of communication between the draenei and the Kurenai home city of Telaar in Nagrand. In order for messengers to pass swiftly between Telaar and Telredor, the roads must be secured.

On our way here, we were attacked repeatedly by marshfang slicers. We were able to fight them off, but they would pose a formidable threat to a solitary messenger. Reducing their numbers will help ensure the safety of our messengers.

Monsters to Kill
12 x Marshfang Slicer

Reward - Choose One of the Following

Please feel free to put your thoughts on this and whether this motivate your WOW adventures by the comment feature below.

Cheers!
