BEWARE of Fake Emails on Account Closure

I just received a shocking email supposedly from Blizzard Account Admin Team stating my account has been flagged for account selling. Honestly I was taken aback by the well written notice and was genuinely worried as I thought my account has been hacked.

Luckily I came to my senses when I recall my WoW account was not linked to this particular gmail account of mine. I admit I was nearly conned into this cause I have 5 gmail accounts and my WoW account is attached to one of them. Here is a screenshot of the email I received moments ago:

So to all of you my treasured readers, please take note of this recent development and be cautious not to send them your account details. Infact Blizzard will never ask for your account details to be emailed over the net anyways.

A Replenishing Evaluation

A brand new month has dawned upon us and since this is the 3rd month for this blog, I wanted to re-evaluate and improve on certain areas. I also would like to take this opportunity to share what I have implemented thus far in Feb too with all of you.

As of today, I have taken out all WOW Gold selling sites adverts cause personally I have never done it before and do not think its necessary. I added it in the first place as I thought of monetizing this blog a little for my efforts but I feel otherwise now to promoting them. What I have done instead is adding a donation section on the right sidebar if any kind souls feel like doing so... totally not obligated of course.

The two features I added last month was translation capabilities and a new graphical drop down navigation on the sidebar. Implementing these two features was a lengthy process as I am a total noob when it comes to all these html and javascript thingy. I do hope you guys found it useful although I know the translation part can be quite inaccurate due to the unique terms in used in the game.

I have also set the comments section to be moderated prior to displaying live as I have had numerous nonsensical and downright weird submissions.

At this juncture I would also like to humbly request for any of your valued opinions or suggestions on improving this blog further. I will surely try my best to implement them although some might take a little longer due to my inexperience with codings.

Last but not least, although I'm sure they do not care but I would like to thank Blogger for providing this wonderful platform for all of us.

Announcement & Notice

Hi there everyone! Since returning from my holidays, I might have accidentally deleted some emails. So if anyone did contacted me via email in the past week, I apologize if I did not reply but do send again if it is of benefits to other WOW players.

I would also like to highlight the RICH amount of info hidden within the comments section of each post contributed by other players. Do take the time to visit them and read up on their sharing which I am very thankful for. The world of Azeroth is so huge... its not easy to understand how everything works but together we can learn from one another.

Thanks once again to all contributors... You guys and gals ROCK!

Translation Capabilities Added

Hi there all my treasured readers! I have just implemented translation capability to the following languages for every single post entry:

Portuguese
French
Spanish
German
Italian
Russian
Arabic
Chinese (Simplified)
Korean
Japanese

I've been finding ways to incorporate this feature as I can see many of you guys and gals are from all over the world through my statistics report. I do hope this new feature will enable all of you an easier time reading all the tips, guides and tricks posted here both new and old. All you have to do is click on the language you prefer at the bottom of every post under the Labels heading.
