I am a skinner since lvl5 or so.. but I did'nt really get money from it till this.. I usually sell mining bags, or armor kits..

But with this ill get that mount really fast..

I'm 1/5 way to the epic flying mount, becouse yesterday I become exalted with Mag'har and get a goat mount(silver).. =D

I am actually working on my 3rd epic flying mount as we speak. Thus finding new ways to get them cos it can be quite daunting to keep doing the same old thing for each character if you know what I mean... LOL!

I only farm during my spare time... cause I'd very much prefer to raid with my guildies and friends.

Ok he's me again.. The situation on my server was SU***.. maybe becouse it was becouse there was almost 1o'clock in the morning, but I couldn't sell any via the trade channel.. The other thing which made me upset a bit that there was a stupid a**hole who put his 1 scale to AH for 30/35!! Baahahahhhhhhh ppl dont like to make oney or what? I almost bought it for for reselling, but I changed my mind.. the next scale was for correst price of 50g, so I priced mines for 40/40, and I really hope I'll sell them all.. We will see it in the evening. if all goes fine i'll be 320g reacher ^_^

Uhm. First of all: I'm sorry about the mistypes.. It was too early for me I guess :-D

My shame, but I did't really looked the time.. It was about 1.5 hours, and I get 8 scales.. the droprate is better then displayed on the thottbot.. I got the first scale after ~10th mob, and the average was ~20-30mob/scale If I sell all it surely worth the effort, becouse a skilled hunter can pull only them (2 snakes) without other pulls and cc one, so easy fights.. There is a triangle of 3 groups witch can be easily pulled, cc-d, and solo-ed, and about 1-2min after u finished the 3rd group, the first group will repop, but there is a 4th group in the line of sight (tracking) so if u want, you can farm them continuesly.

Oh, and other good tip: There are some kind of "water" elementals right next to the Cobras, which has an avarege dropprate of "mote of water" which also sells good..

I try to submit a screenshot about the "triange" I mentioned earlier tomorrow.

No triangle pic today, sorry... The scales haven't sold really good.. Only 2 of them, which was packed together (80g), so if u sell the scales in AH, better to put 2 together..
I've put hem in AH for today also, so we will see the results.. And I may get some mor till the weekend too.. much more ppl comes then. :-S

Yeah man... weekend is like a flee market.. LOL! You should try to create interest in the trade channel too. Try this I find it quite effective:

"4x Cobra Scales for 120g all or nothing"

Something along that line if you know what I mean. Usually you will get either a genuine buyer or buyer who thinks he can make a quick buck by reselling it.

I sell all my stackable stuff that way, since i've first read it somewhere (most probably at BRK blog) its a really effective way to sell stuff..

IMhO selling by 2x instead of 4x is more effective, becouse ppl usually need them to get the armor kit, where u need to have 2.

btw. Have u checked back to ur dragonskin LW trainer in badlands? It's like :-O He sells new PURPLE recipies to 375 LW.. and those stuffs.. again.. :-0000-like (similar to t5-6 quality)

hey guys just stoping by and seeing what all you wrote. to be honest with you i have been where u guys talk about alot. but the place in nagrand you have to fly to. its on the eastern side. have the red and white snakes. (sorry to be so vague i just cant remember unless i look at it) but i farmed there for 1 hour and got 8 scales. plus nothing else up there attacks you so you are just running and skinning the whole time. its awesome.
